IS VALERIE CONCEPCION STEPPING OUT OF WOWOWEE?

TV host-actress Valerie Concepcion is one of the highly visible TV personalities these days. Apart from her daily show Wowowee, Val is seen on the top-rating series Precious Hearts Romances presents “Love Me Again.”

In a recent interview, Valerie shared her delight over her new PHR project and the new friends she gained in the person of PBB Double Up ex-housemates Tom Rodriguez, Cathy Remperas and Johan Santos. In fact, she only had good words to say about her co-actors. “Nagugulat ako kung gaano kabilis umiyak ni Cathy. Ang laki nang improvement niya! Si Johan naman, consistent in his performance. Noon pa man, nakitaan ko na siya ng potential.”

Val added that she has already established a certain ‘closeness’ with her leading man Tom. “Comfortable na siya ngayon sa akin, ‘di tulad noong una na naiilang siya. Mas na fi-feel ko na yung mga eksena namin, When I look into his eyes now, alam ko na ang gusto niyang sabihin even without saying anything.”

Heart Yngrid’s PHR presents Love Me Again is Valerie’s second PHR series. Her first was in “PHR presents Bud Brothers.”

With Valerie’s apparent enjoyment in PHR, she has been rumored to take a full blast comeback into acting and quit Wowowee. Val immediately cleared the issue, “Walang ganun! Actually, kare-renew lang ng kontrata ko sa Wowowee. Kuntento na ako sa ganitong paminsan-minsan na acting stint. Mas priority ko pa rin ang Wowowee.”

Also starring Archie Alemania, Nina Ricci Alagao, Ahron Villena, Bettina Carlos and PBB Double Up ex-housemates JM Lagumbay, Kenny Santos and Toffi Santos, PHR presents Love Me Again is under the direction of Ruel S. Bayani who directed “Tayong Dalawa” and 2nd unit director Jojo Saguin who was 2nd unit director for “May Bukas Pa.”
