WORKING OUT(SIDE)

You don’t need a gym membership to get in shape this summer.  You don’t even need fancy exercise equipment at home!  Living in Alberta is all that you need. With the summer season being as short as it is, you need to start enjoying and taking advantage of the great outdoors!

Here’s a full body workout that you can do at most parks and/or playgrounds:

Jog/Run to the park
Do:
•    25 squats
•    25 pushups
•    25 situps
•    25 dips
•    25 pullups/chinups
•    25 lunges
•    25 burpees
•    25 mountain climbers
•    25 bicycle crunches
(Repeat 2 to 4 times)
Jog/Run back home

Use the park and playground equipment to help you with the exercises, such as picnic benches, monkey bars, stairs, etc.)

This workout is designed to burn fat, and builds lean muscle.  This  workout can be repeated up to 3 or 4 times a week.  (ALWAYS consult your physician/doctor before starting any kind of physical fitness program).
