“How do you feel about school now that the new school year just opened?”

“I was so ecstatic to see my friends again and finish my last year of high school. The thought of graduating in less than a year was just as scary as starting high school for the first time. Other than the homework we get almost every day, the start of my grade 12 year is awesome! Probably one of the best starting school years I’ve had.”

“Grade 12 has been stressful and overwhelming, just as initially expected. With all the homework, the competition for scholarships and university decisions, it’s been difficult to find “me” time. In all honesty, I’m ready to leave this phase of my life and I’m prepared to take on whatever the future has in store for me.”

“The start of grade 12 has been stressful.  Being able to balance school, work and family is extremely difficult. My mind is full of important dates and graduation requirements. Right now I am overwhelmed by the thought that next year I will not be attending high school. Although I’ll miss the daily routine of a high schooler, I’m ready to accept the fact that I will soon be an adult with bigger responsibilities.”
