On the first week of October, Gervie Pagsanghan, president of Diamond Seniors Club of Calgary with his wife Nelia celebrated their 49th wedding anniversary. Witnessing the sweet renewal of their wedding vows were the officers and members with their families and friends at the cruise ship namely Rick and Aida Nicdao, Berting and Eva Ilagan, Des Cruz, Antonette, (sister of Herminio Calindas) Tony and Julie, acclaimed as the ”best dancers” of the trip, Ramen Gallos and Vena Rodinic …
The seven days trip was filled with excitement.. Indeed, the Diamond seniors had a taste of living like queens and kings. Food was sumptuous, wine was overflowing and tropical fruits in abundance.
The women had their shopping spree satisfied whereas the men enjoyed dolphin’s friendly show. Cuba is one country with despicable beauty. Its people are friendly though living with a meager income. Generous Diamonds shared some clothing and money to those whom they have come in touch with…

Another trip is planned for the coming year. Viva Diamond Seniors!
