Ok Go Kapamilya Toronto 2016!

First of all we would like TFC North America for giving PINOY TIMES the opportunity to be a part of the media presscon for the OK GO KAPAMILYA TORONTO 2016! Special mention to Ms. Rosary Escano who made this possible and of course to all the heads from TFC NORTH AMERICA.

Filipinos in Toronto were given a full day of fun, entertainment, suprises and audience participation during the said event. Aside from the fact that TFC has brought Dolce Amore World Tour for this particular event with the main cast, Liza Soberano, Enrique Gil, Mateo Gudicelli and of course the winners of THE VOICE – Morisette Amon and Daryl Ong and the Asia’s Queen of R and B, Kyla.

There was the press con that started at 9 am and all the local media from Ontario were there and Pinoy Times had the chance to join them as media representing Alberta. During the presscon, I had a chance to ask Enrique Gil who he would like to have as a leading lady aside from Liza Soberano since he started doing movies on his own with his last one “DUKOT”. Enrique Gil had a tough time answering the question, but in the end he said that since Liza’s favorite is Arci Munoz, then he would pick Arci Munoz for a leading lady. After an hour of press con, there was the meet and greet with the lucky fans who won the contest and they were all happy to see the artists who will be performing for the evening show. It was indeed a fabulous day for the fans. The doors open to the public at 1 pm and there was a tradeshow from different local businesses like Philippine Airline, Monegram, Star Kargo, Landco, and of course the TFC boxes that were available for the public to purchase so they can watch their favorite KAPAMILYA shows.

The show started at 5 pm with the local showcase of talents from JDL School of Performing Arts. Parents, family and friends of the local performers where very supportive for the performances of the local talents. This is a great opportunity for them to be a part of such a big event OK GO KAPAMILYA TORONTO 2016. The main event started at about 6:30 pm and it was indeed full house at Hershey Center when the fun and entertainment started. It was also commendable that there was audience participation and it made the show more exciting and entertaining. One of the biggest surprises at #okgotoronto2016 — birthday girl in red dress wins the “Bring Me” contest and gets to take home a round-trip ticket to the Philippines. What a happy birthday indeed!” The Filiipinos definitely went home with happiness and contentment in their hearts that night with the performances of the artists and the wonderful experience.

Congratulations to TFC NORTH AMERICA for bringing another huge and very successful show for the Filipino Community. You never fail to make people have an experience in their life that is worth remembering and TFC NORTH AMERICA always bring the best shows ever to the Filipino Community in all parts of North America and the rest of the world.
