Belated Happy Thanksgiving to everyone! If you look around us, there’s a lot to be thankful for. Aside from being thankful we should also learn to be content with who we are and what we have in our life. It’s not bad to aim a goal we want to reach but not to the extend that we are doing it because we are jealous of other people. We can improve ourselves because we want to do so and not because of jealousy.

When I attended the 1st Sunday mass, the priest in his homily mentioned 3 important factors for a relationship to work. First is forgiveness. Sometimes even when the other person doesn’t ask for forgiveness, it would be best to forgive for your own good. Second is communication. It is not only to communicate but how you have to communicate. You have to put yourself in the place if the other person in order to realize the manner of how you will communicate with the person. Third is unconditional love which is not 50/50 but you give your 100% to your husband and the husband has to give you 100% as well. That is unconditional love.

Lastly we have to make sure that we support our local artists who are coming this October – Aegis in Calgary on October 20 in Calgary and Father and Son in Edmonton on October 27.
