Concert in Review – Men of the 80’s

The 80’s came back to life when Calgary witnessed the great and fantastic performances of Randy Santiago, Raymond Lauchengco, Gino Padilla and Louie Herredia, known as the MEN OF THE 80’S.   The MacEwan Hall at the U of C were filled with audience that were really eager to see how the Men of the 80’s concert.  They’ve sang most of their hits during the 80’s .  No one can forget the BABAERO of Randy Santiago.  There was variety of songs that they performed that night but the audience really had fun they they impersonated some of the popular international artists such as Robbi Rosa of Menudo by Raymond Lauchengco, Prince by Randy Santiago, Michael J. by Gino Padilla and Boy George by Louie Herredia.

The front acts were performed by Faith Bacolod, Mary Kate Aquino, Laurie Callao, Kayla Layug Iovan, & Purple Jam..  The emcee for the evening was Juan Manila of Radio Pinoy and Maria Fernandez.

The audience were alived especially when the artists came down when they were doing their solo numbers and try to shake hands with the audience.  The showmanship for this artists was really fantastic.  Congratulations to the producers J M J Promotions Inc. and Ostenoh Promotions Inc. for a job well done!
