FLASH REPORT!!!!
As everyone is aware of the recent calamity in my home country, the Philippines, Typhoon Ondoy has done a lot of damaged to the residents back home.
As a publisher of the Filipino community paper here in Calgary, we would like to help the victims of Typhoon Ondoy. Donations of any amount or even in kind is welcome and we will be sending everything to the Philippine National Red Cross.
If you would like to donate old clothings, blankets, towels, etc. please drop them off at 240 MacEwan Ridge Close NW anytime from today until Saturday (October 10) from 12 noon to 8 pm so we can ship them out to Philippine National Red Cross by Sunday, October 11.
If you would like to do a donation of any amount, I will take your name as donors and send it together with your donation to the Philippine National Red Cross.
At this point we have received $ 1,000 cash donation from KASAYAHAN 2009…..so calling all the numerous Filipino associations/organizations/societies/clubs, let us all unite and help our brothers back home in this time of need.
Thank you so much for your kind attention and any little bit helps.
