CHRISTMAS THE FULFILLMENT OF THE CREATION- THE TRUE MEANING OF CHRISTMAS

Cold! It’s getting cold. Really getting cold. Can you feel what I can feel? Can you see what I can see? Different colors, different shapes, different sizes.

Trees being decorated, lanterns being lighted blinking like the stars in the starry night. This season they say, a season of joy, a season of celebration. Is it really? Well, can you hear what I can hear? What a lovely music, a Christmas carol that touch my very heart. Ahh that is only a sign, but that is not the real meaning why we are celebrating this season.

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. Can you imagine, the Word was with God and was moving in the dark. There was a reason why God moves in the dark. A significant reason and on and on and on. The purpose, THE CREATION, THE TOTAL FULFILLMENT. Then one day the Word that was moving in the dark, became flesh and dwell among us. All of us, can we think of anything? That night, that time, that moment, that wonderful night in a very small town, unpopular, unknown who could ever think , who could ever imagine, in a manger where animals were hanging around, the unforgettable moment, the very first CHRISTMAS ever happened. The beginning of new life, the night of our SALVATION was unveiled, our SAVIOR was born, our REDEEMER. SALVATION came into the world in the formed of human flesh (JH. 1-14) for YOU and ME.

Here we are again, celebrating another Christmas. Too many Christmases has passed, too many celebration which we can not number anymore. Merrymaking, dancing in the tune of Christmas carols. Jingle bells jingle bells, a repeated tune every year. Are we not getting tired of that repeated tune? Laughing, dancing eating giving gifts and doing everything that will make us happy. Well after that, back again, to where? What do you think? Can I ask you friends? Is that really what Christmas means? Have some thought, think and look around, and see what’s happening in this world. What you can see and what you can hear? A world of materialism, a world full of hypocrisy. But then if we will look beyond and dig with in our heart, we will truly find out that Christmas is only in our heart. If that man sent by our Creator is alive in our heart, if that man who died in the cross of Calvary is really alive in our heart. All of us, wake up and open our heart, before it will be too late.

LOVE that four letter word is the manifestation of everything. Love is the very message and the true essence of Christmas, not the carols, not the lighted lanterns, not the material world, but the love that is in our heart. We are blinded with so much traditions, so much beliefs, but thanks be to the living God who introduced His life to us, for us , who came from heaven to die for us. The fulfillment of the creation is Christmas, Christmas is the beginning of salvation and salvation is the way to God. The first Christmas ever is the total fulfillment of the creation, because through that we can be reunited again with our creator. We can count or experience a lot of reunion, family reunion, class reunion, but reunion with the creator will be the greatest reunion we could ever have in our lives Christmas is not only during the month of December, but in every day of our lives, when you share JESUS to everyone, and as long as Jesus is alive in our heart, it will always be Christmas. Christmas is love because God is love and Christmas means accepting Jesus into our heart, and make Him our Lord and personal saviour, and truly it will make a difference, because Christmas means—

SALVATION CAN BE FOUND IN CHRIST ALONE, THAT’s THE TRUE MEANING OF CHRISTMAS.
