April – Month of Blossom/Month of New Life

April the fourth month of the year. Every month has each own meaning, own qualities. I really love this month, maybe because that was the month when I first saw the beautiful world, first felt the gentle breeze that kissed my bare skin. The month when our neighbor heard my first cry. Kidding aside that is not the reason why I love this month. Even if my birthday did’nt fall on this month, April will always be my favorite month of the year. The title alone can give the specific view for this.

Well April is the month or a season of the year in which plants begin to grow, beautiful flowers begin to pop-up, greengrass will start to spread and seems like a blanket that cover up the barren, cracked and very dry land. Greenery color, what a beautiful scenery. Every color has each own meaning like purple which means Kingship, yellow which means power, white which means purity and no wonder, maybe that’s the reason why the meaning of green is HOPE, because life itself continues to goes on and on and on. A part will die but surely another part will continue to grow, to become alive again, so do with the human beings. Spring time spring beauty, the beauty which is being nurtured by God alone. Yes, after being dormant for so many months here comes the beautiful surrounding, the uncomparable beauty of nature, amazing, unfathomable scenery, uncomparable view that God alone can explain the very beginning. Why? Because He was the one who designed it. He is the greatest painter, the greatest designer then and on. Seeing the beautiful world is seeing God himself. That is a facts because without God nothing will exist. In my own point of view , springtime or spring, or this season of the year is very relevant to Easter Sunday. In our calendar, the Gregorian calendar Easter Sunday usually falls on the month of April.If we will try to recall since from the very beginning, from generation to generation, the death and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ which we usually celebrate it beginning end of March to first or second week of April Easter Sunday in Tagalog is Lingo ng Pagkabuhay. What do you think my dear reader? For me the very first Easter Sunday or Lingo ng Pagkabuhay was the beginning of new life for all of us, who will recieve Jesus Christ as their Lord and personal saviour. His resurrection is the starting point of our new life, because Jesus Christ alone is the spring of life, a stream of water that gives us life and hope even to the totality of his creation. Just look around and see the beautiful world that surround us. I have no doubt about it because reading the Bible which is my road map to heaven and by just watching around is a solid reason that God truly exist.

As I mentioned earlier about the relevant of what was happening, of the things that had happened and of the things that we can see, we can observe, we can touch, we can feel, the fresh buds that begins to pup-up, the beautiful flowers that started to bloom, the green grass that begins to grow, wow everything is beautiful in His time really. Well my brethren, it is just like when we first recieved and accepted Jesus Christ into our heart as our Lord and personal saviour, everything is new, is wonderful.We can not contained the joy that flows in our heart. New life, new hope, new heart and new beginning. Is there any connection why Easter Sunday falls on April, springtime? When the plants started to grow on this season. Why the plants started to grow on this season? For sure on my belief it is not a coincedence because as He had said in His word in ‘ Ecclesiastes 3:1 THERE IS TIME FOR EVERYTHING AND A SEASON FOR EVERY ACTIVITY UNDER HEAVEN.’ and in Ecclesiastes 3:11 HE HAS MADE EVERYTHING BEAUTIFUL IN ITS TIME. HE HAS ALSO SET ETERNITY IN THE HEART OF MEN, YET THEY CAN NOT FATHOM WHAT GOD HAS DONE FROM BEGINNING TO END.”

God as the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end, is the only one who knows what lies ahead, what the future holds. The only one who can answer the very hardest question a human being could ever ask, but I think it is not important because the best thing we\I could do is to savour the love and forgiveness that he had freely given for us, for you and me, to worship Him alone and not to forget to appreciate and admire the beautiful creation that He designed for you and me. That’s what that really matter because God created us just to worship Him and He created the beautiful word for us, not just to admire it but through it we can imagine how beautiful our God is. As the lyrics of the song says ” You are beautiful beyond description, too marvelous for words Too wonderful for comprehension, like nothing ever seen or heard.”
Blossom and New Life are connected with each other, the first one, for the things that grow and the second one, for the new heart that beat, new life begins and both of them are in the hands of God and both fell on the same month APRIL.
