A UNIQUE PERFORMANCE OF 3 GENERATIONS WILL TAKE PLACE ON JUNE 12, 2011 …………..THE CONCERT WILL FEATURE MYRNA A. LOPEZ, MD, .PIANIST, CAMILLE LOPEZ MOLINA, SOPRANO, AND HER 2 CHILDREN, BEATRIZ MILAGROS AND SOFIA ISABEL, JOEL MASIGLAT, TENOR, AND HIS TWO CHILDREN, DANIELLE THERESE, AND MICAELA BIANCA. CAMILLE IS MYRNA’S DAUGHTER MARRIED TO PABLO MOLINA, AND JOEL IS MARRIED TO HER DAUGHTER MYRA.
THE REPERTOIRE WILL FEATURE CLASSICS, EXCERPTS FROM BROADWAY, A COLLECTION BEATRIOF DISNEY SONGS, AND WELL LOVED FILIPINO COMPOSITIONS. A special feature will be a tribute to Mme. Cory Aquino, with a song from Bing Pimentel’s “Cory the Musical”, Jose Mari Chan’s “ I have fallen in Love” (with the same woman three times), and Constancio de Guzman’s “Bayan Ko”.
CAMILLE, BEATRIZ, AND SOFIA, WILL BE COMING FROM THE PHILIPPINES, WHILE MYRNA, JOEL, AND DANIELLE AND MICAELA ARE ALL RESIDENTS OF AIRDRIE. CAMILLE IS ONE OF THE PHILIPPINES MOST-SOUGHT AFTER SOPRANOS, AND WAS AN ALIW AWARDEE FOR BEST CLASSICAL SINGER, FEMALE CATEGORY, IN 2009 AND 2010. IN MAY, 2009, SHE PERFORMED AT A FUND-RAISING CONCERT IN ST. PAUL’S AIRDRIE, TOGETHER WITH JOEL. MYRNA AND THE MASIGLAT FAMILY HAVE SERVED IN HOLY TRINITY AND ST. THOMAS MORE CHURCHES IN CALGARY, AND PRESENTLY IN ST. PAUL’S CHURCH IN AIRDRIE.
