The Other Side

Day by day we get closer to winter, although so far we have been lucky. Some years we have snow in October but now we are half way through and no snow yet! Good thing is – no mosquitoes and no grass to cut!

What a great month it was with several concerts, parties and shows to enjoy. The next month looks just as good with more scheduled and Christmas parties not too far away. Remember, if you are too lazy to write or type “Christ” when saying that word, shame on you. Don’t replace Christ with an “X” please.

By the time our next issue comes out you will have enjoyed another Manny Pacquiao fight. Taking place on November 12, I will not make any predictions but it will be interesting to gauge how much improved Manny is. After two previous fights with this same opponent – both close and both controversial, can Manny make a few million more easy dollars and again look around for another worthy opponent? He is so superior that any challengers are just using him for their own financial gain. Mayweather has a extremely big mouth, but is not even in the same league as Pacquiao in boxing. On one hand we all don’t want Manny to lower himself to Mayweather’s level; on the other hand perhaps it would be fun to see the world’s greatest boxer shut the fool up for good!

I will keep this short as I have already supplied Pinoy Times with two or three other articles this month. I suggest you find a copy of the glossy new PinoyLiving Today magazine and look it over. Let the Publisher know what you would like to see added to future issues as it grows and she will try to accommodate you.

Meanwhile, if wifey has the car loaded, we are getting out of this cold and wet climate for a week in the Okanagan.
