Publishers Note

It has been another year for us and I think that in the life of  PINOYTIMES, it has been a fruitful year.  We have continously gained support from more advertisers who sees the value of being part of our publication. As part of our mission to serve the Filipino community, we will continously
exert our best efforts to deliver the best choices of news and community events that will be very informative to our readers.  Please feel free to send us your comments or suggestions to [email protected] or call yours truly at (403) 9752120.

Let’s us not forget that this even if we are far away from our home country, the Filipino community still upholds to its tradition, please check the announcement on the differents dates and churches where you can experience our traditional Simbang Gabi.  If you are free in one of those evenings, please feel free to join them.  Gift-giving is another big thing with the Filipinos and even if we need to stretch our wallets, we always do so just to give what we know will make our loved ones happy for the holidays. But sometimes, we need to look at the point where we will not overextend ourselves, sometimes we also need to be frugal, you don’t want to max out all your credit cards in one shot.  So if you give 3 or 4 gifts to someone, maybe you can cut it down to just 2 this time.

New Year is just around the corner and it’s time to contemplate on what we have acccomplished this year. And let us re-evaluate what we should not do again in the coming year just because it did not add  value to our life. Most of us come up with a New Year’s Resolution just to realized that  none of them were put into action.  I guess the best thing to do is to list your priorities for the year instead of just making up New Year’s  Resolution.

Most of all, let’s pray for peace, prosperity and long life for all our fellow PINOYS all ove rthe world!

*MERRY CHRISTMAS AND A HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL!*

*MABUHAY ANG PINOY!*
