Around 1:30pm slowly dead bodies from the Agutayan Island start coming to the mainland Jasaan. Rescurers and Retrieval team recovered a total of 49 bodies. Local authorities were also present to asses the situation; among of them are the representative from Department of Health, DILG, Baranggay Officials, and Municipal Fire Fighters. The bodies were believed to be floating for 4 to 5 days and according to the authorities its on the advance decomposition stage. These are from adults and children who were victims of the typhoon Sendong. Many families of the missing victims were present at the port hoping that those recovered bodies would be their love ones. Some of the bodies were tried to be admitted to a local Morgue but was refused due limited space at the facility. One was identified by a family but the rest were brought to Cagayan de Oro Rescue and Retrieval Center for further identification process.
