New Hope New Beginnings

It’s the start of a new year, new hope and new beginnings. From 2011,we have to re-evaluate what it has been for us for 12 months and maybe try our best to keep what is worth keeping for 2012 and bear in mind that whatever we have done that did not give us any good result should not be done again. It’s like learning from our mistakes. One thing that I noticed with family and friends among us, Filipinos, is what they call KEEPING UP WITH THE JONESES. If one buys an SUV, then the other will follow; or if one buys a house, then the others will sell their house and buy a new one just to keep up. It’s not wrong to aim for something, but hopefully you will do it at the right time and not overextending yourselves.

Recently I heard a story about some group of Filipinos who are recruiting some fellow Fiilipinos to join a pyramid group. They would ask members to contribute 2,000 dollars and the return is 20,000. Warning to my fellow Pinoys, easy money is not the right way to earn a living. For those who are doing this kind of dirty work, remember that KARMA is just around the corner. And for those who want to make more money, it’s better to do it the right way, please do not believe in any of these pyramid scams……those who victimize our fellow kababayans, you should be ashame of yourself, if you are that kind of person back in the Philippines, please do not do the same thing here, ITAPON ANG MASASAMANG GAWAIN AT MAGSIMULA NG BAGONG BUHAY SA IBINIGAY NA PAGKAKATAON SA INYO NG CANADIAN GOVERNMENT. HUWAG SAYANGIN SA PARAANG MANLOLOKO KAYO NG KAPWA PINOY!

I came from a hard life back in Manila, I belong to the working class and have worked for over 35 years of my life; and still working up to now. But one thing for sure, it’s a good feeling that we are leading an honest and persevering life than those who become one day millionaire because of their dirty tricks with other people. Perseverance and determination are key factors to a good life. Heads up high and nothing to be ashamed of because you are not taking advantage of other people.

To all my fellow PINOYS, HAPPY NEW NEW YEAR AND NEW BEGINNINGS FOR 2012!
