Have you noticed lately that it’s getting colder and colder in the early morning and in the evening? Our daylight is getting shorter and shorter as days pass by. We cannot deny that fact that summer is over and the leaves have started to change colors and started falling from their branches. Yes, AUTUMN is now in the air as it became official on September 22nd. School has started and so our students were so happy to be back in school and were so excited to meet up with they friends once again in school.

In the Filipino community there were lots of activities in the past month that I was in Edmonton 3 times for the month of September. The Annebisyosa concert was a success brought to us by Otsenoh Productsion and the PINOY CHAMPS was also a big hit brought to us by Great Smile Promotions. Congratulations to Girlie and Honie Nitoral of Otsenoh Productions and to Dr. Nimrod and Ms. Jencet Montano of Great Smile Promotions for bringing us great shows to give us good entertainment straight from the Philippines.

This October we should not miss the Teleserye Bida brought to us by Pure Talents Entertainment headed by Ms. Ellen Sarmiento and Ms. Espie Garcia. This is one show that we should never miss. Not only are the bidas very good looking but very talented as well. So get your tickets now and make sure you mark October 27 in your calendars and watch this show at the Jubilee Auditorium.

Please don’t forget to send in your nominations for our OUTSTANDING PINOY 2013 SEARCH. October 31st if the last day of nomination. Look around you and nominate who you think deserve to get the recognition from the community. On the same token, please do not miss our year end event – PINOY TIMES 5th ANNUAL CHRISTMAS PARTY and AWARDS NIGHT on December 14, 2013 at the Huntington Community Center; tickets available for a dinner buffet of $ 35.00 per person.
