It was indeed a full house with an expected attendance of 500 + for the grandest and the biggest boodle feast at Mama Nita’s Edmonton Branch on May 8, 2016. Aside from it’s grand opening, it was also Mother’s Day celebration.

It was also a gathering for all the DUTERTE Supporters of Alberta, Canada. The camaraderie amongst the Filipinos was really a sign that there’s unity in all of us if we work for the same cause.  For those who organized and worked to have a great day like this to call for a change in the lives of our loved ones in the Philippines, congratulations!

We would like to congratulate Chef Ricky Asuncion who opened up the very first boodle feast themed restaurant Mama Nita’s in Calgary last year and now with the expansion of another one in Edmonton.  Keep up the good job, Chef Ricky and partners.

Aside for that, whatever revenue they had that day, a portion was donated to the Alberta Wildforest Fire.  Such a great deed from one of best restaurants in Alberta.
