PERT UPDATE

First of, we would like to thank all organizers, performers, volunteers and everyone for coming out to support the Ondoy/Ketsana Live-Aid Benefit show last Friday! It wouldn’t have been a great success without all of you!

1. As of today, October 29, 2009, PERT has accumulate a GROSS REVENUE of $18, 688.24, and counting! We would like to send out the first cash donation by November 12, 2009 so please keep this date in mind and keep your donations coming!

2. The deadline for dropping off in-kind donations is on October 31st. Please see the group for information on the drop-off centers. We will also be sorting that day at the same place:

We welcome sponsors to help us pay for freights . Please contact us if you or your company will be able to do this. It would be greatly appreciated.

3. Recipient agencies in the Philippines are as follows

a. Citizens’ Disaster Response Center (CDRC), a nationwide community based NGO (see http://www.cdrc-phil.org/cdrc.HTM)

b. Philippine National Red Cross (PNRC)

4. In-kind and Cash donations will be both sent out by November 12, 2009. There will most likely be another sorting in between Oct. 31st and that day so please watch for updates.
