PRO-LIFE CHAIN RALLY

LIFE CHAIN is a peaceful and prayerful public witness of pro-life individuals standing for 90 minutes praying for our nation and for an end to abortion. It is a visual statement of solidarity by the Christian community that abortion kills children and that the Church supports the sanctity of human life from the moment of conception until natural death.

On October 2, 2011, the Knights of Columbus Council 14746 under the leadership of GK Rodel Nagera together with brother Knights Hardy Del Castillo, Rey Tantay, Edgar and Noel Araullo, Rogato Soliva, Serafin Chicote, Eric De Castro, Bing Gascon and their families formed a human chain to express their solidarity and sought an end to abortion. The stretch of Macleod Trail South from Glenmore Trail to 90^th Avenue also saw a multitude of volunteers mostly from the Christian faith who all believed that life of the unborn should be preserved. The Knights of Columbus firmly believes in defending life at all cost.
