CCFCC News Updates

The Canadian Culinary Federation of Chef and Cooks (CCFC) held   a mini trade fair last Feb.3,2014  venue is  the Lazy S. Clubhouse, Grandstand  building of Calgary Stampede. The exhibit showcased a wide array of protein, produce and dairy products of best quality at highly competitive prices by fifteen local suppliers made available in the market for their clients in the industry.  This trade fair organized by CCFC which formed part of   their monthly   general assembly meeting is the organization’s   show   of support to all food service   producers and suppliers in Alberta.  Raffle   prizes were given out courtesy of the exhibitors thus adding excitement to the fair.

Coinciding with the event is the induction and oath taking of CCFCC   new members presided by Executive Chefs Andy Waters   and Federico “Jun” Causapin.  CCFC which was founded in   1963 and through the years has enjoyed a deep and long standing tradition as Canada’s   true representation of  the  professional chef and cook. Its main goal is to unite   chefs and cooks across Canada in a common dedication to professional excellence.  Continuing education and learnings    of the best practices in the foodservice and hospitality industry is just some of the benefits in line for all CCFCC members.

CCFCC Calgary Chapter membership is open   to all those who are actively engaged in food preparation in all commercial and hospitality establishments or currently studying a course in culinary.
