Over 250 tickets were given away free to many seniors from around Calgary.  The guests were treated to a sumptuous buffet catered by Sumo Restaurant. Music was provided by Mr. Fred Sayson of IDM DJ Services.

The theme of the event was “Tamaraw Seniors Got Talent”, which showcased the different talent of the Tamaraw Seniors members from singing, dancing, and acting. Members of the Philippine Cultural Centre Foundation (PCCF) headed by its President, Clem Tigley, were among the guests, who provided special dance numbers and a magic show presented by husband and wife team, Resty and Jovita Saquibal. The entertainment was well received by everybody. The event also made John Karmis the lucky winner of the 50-50 draw.
